Kel will also have a role to play in the relations of the Yamani delegation who are coming to Tortall for the betrothal of Prince Roald. After four years will Raoul she will either be ready to face the Ordeal, or nothing can prepare her.
Lady Knight – Kel has had nightmares since she went through the Ordeal of Knighthood. She knows part of her destiny, but not where or when it will happen. In the mean time she doesn’t have much time to figure it out. Tortall is at war with Scanran, the country to the north. Now that she is lady knight, where will her commander place her? In the heat of battle or out of the way of the real fighting?
