Veronica Chandler is Dear Veronica - an advice columnist for the Jackson paper. Her column is popular and readers assume she is an expert in love. But Veronica feels like a fraud. Dahl is a great writer who creates fully developed characters. Any of her books would break the stereotype that romance books are not well written or well developed. Her books are wonderful and sexy, filled with humor. Pick one up today!

Flirting with Disaster by Victoria Dahl is the third story in her Girls Night Out romance series - a series that follows her Jackson Hole series. The paperback also includes the novella that started the series - Fanning the Flames.

Isabelle West is a painter. She lives a fairly isolated life in a cabin in the mountains above Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She does have a few friends - her neighbor Jill and the women she meets for girls' night out every other week.

US Marshall Tom Duncan is in Jackson Hole on a case. A local judge is presiding over a case where the defendant's family has promised to stop the trial. Tom and his team will be staying at the judge's house - behind Isabelle's.

Isabelle is sure that Tom is there for her. She does not believe for a minute that there is another reason for his knock on her door. Isabelle has been on the run for years. Part of her hermit-like life is because she is actually hiding.


Dahl is a masterful storyteller whose novels of full of steamy characters and scenes, sprinkled with a dose of humor. She is my favorite romance writer.

Looking for Trouble by Victoria Dahl is the fourth book in her Jackson Hole, Wyoming series and the second book in the Girls Night Out.

Sophie has lived in Jackson Hole her entire life. She is a librarian and has a group of friends who get together every week for dinner. There is a firefighter who works next door to the library who is always asking her out. But Sophie is waiting for someone - someone who sees past her quiet, conservative clothing to the person she truly is underneath.

Alex Bishop is back in town after sixteen years. He left the second he graduated from high school has not looked back. His childhood was overshadowed by the disappearance of his father. His mother repeatedly pulled Alex and his brother Shane out of school to follow rumors of where their father went.

Now Alex is back for a memorial service for his father, but the first night he is in town he runs into a beautiful woman who he would like to see again. While Sophie knows who Alex is - the family resemblance is strong between the brothers - Alex doesn't know that Sophie is the daughter of the woman his father left with.

Dahl is a master storyteller. Her characters are wonderfully flawed. Her stories are steamy and always have laugh-out-loud moments. Victoria Dahl is the place to start if you have never read a romance novel.

Turn Up the Heat (Jackson Hole)

Turn Up the Heat by Lori Foster, Christie Ridgeway and Victoria Dahl is sizzling.

"Strong Enough to Love" by Victoria Dahl is part of her Jackson Hole series. Eve Hill is a photographer. Fans of the series will recognize her as Grace's boss. She has lived in Jackson for two years and finally gets her own story.

Eve has just about giving up finding the right guy. She is barley even interested in looking anymore. It seems that no one compares to the one who got away. But coming home from a friend's birthday party, she see him standing in front of her photography studio.

Brian has been gone for two years. He was completely in love with Eve, but could not be with her. He had to make sure his marriage was over so he could start with a clean slate. Now he is back in town and hoping she has not fallen in love with someone else.

Dahl is a masterful story teller who appeals to fans of many genres. Her characters are real and capture readers attention even before she adds the attraction between them. I would read anything by her.

Too Fast to Fall by Victoria Dahl is part of her Jackson Hole series. Jenny Stone is a bartender at the Crooked R Saloon. She also has a habit of driving too fast. Deputy Nate Hendrix has pulled her over six times for speeding in her classic car. He can't understand why she can't just slow down and be safe on the roads. After another warning, he makes her promise to take a driving course on safety. But when they see each other in the Crooked R, sparks fly.

Alone with You by Shannon Stacey chronicles the opening of a new bar/restaurant in upstate Massachusetts. Jake has only a couple of days in the city before he heads up to begin renovation on what will become a second location of Jasper's Bar and Grille. To see if it might fit into the new place, while in town Jake goes to a local bar for trivia night. He is paired with Darcy. After one great night together, they lose contact to be reunited when her boss sends Darcy upstate to help with the opening of the bar.

Sizzle by Jennifer Cruise is the story of an advertising executive and an accountant working on the launch of a new perfume.

So Tough to Tame by Victoria Dahl is the third book in her Jackson Hole romance series.

Charlie Allington just moved back to Jackson Hole. She had been gone since just after high school, but now she is in need of a change and is moving home where she can regroup. Also, her friend from high school is about to open a resort and Charlie is a trained security specialist. And after what happened, no one else will give her a chance.

When Walker Pearce hears that his high school tutor is moving back and needs a place to live, he asks his landlord if she can rent the empty apartment across the hall. Pearce thinks it will be nice to have a friendly face close by as he looks for a job. He is a ranch hand who has been working in dude ranches, but needs to line something up for the winter season.

But when Walker sees Charlie, the image in his head is shattered. She is not the cute, athletic girl from high school. Well, she is still athletic, but all grown up. And though they both have secrets they will risk being exposed for a chance to get to know each other as adults.

Dahl is a fantastic romance writer who captures characters' personalities and quirks while leading readers on un-put-downable romantic journeys. Her books are some of the best romance written.

Too Hot to Handle by Victoria Dahl is the second book in her series that takes place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Since she visited her best friend Grace, Merry Kade has been trying to move to Jackson Hole. She finally found a job that allowed her to move - she is the curator of a ghost town. Or it will be a ghost town museum after some clean up and restoration to make it safe. But the committee that will run the town is tied up in court because the man whose will created the foundation for Providence ghost town is in probate.

Shane Harcourt grew up in Jackson. He is a carpenter who is shocked when his new neighbor asks him to do some work in Providence - the town that has plagued his family for generations. His grandfather's creation of the trust for Providence was out of spite because Shane would not change his last name back to Bishop. Now Shane has inherited land, but with the taxes that go along with it, he will have to sell if he cannot claim some of the two million left to Providence.

Merry has no idea that the man she is trying to hire is the very man who is holding up the funds for her to do her job. She thinks of him as the handsome cowboy next door. And Shane figures if he can help her out a little, he might learn about the other side in his court battle.

Dahl is a masterful storyteller. Her books are fun and sexy with real character who can make you laugh and cry. Read all of her books!

Close Enough to Touch (Jackson Hole #1)

Close Enough to Touch by Victoria Dahl is yet another great book by a master storyteller.

Grace Barrett can fit everything she owns into one old duffel bag. And she and the bag have just arrived in Jackson, Wyoming. She has a job lined up in Vancouver in a few weeks, but she could not stay in L.A. for one more day. Luckily, a great aunt she has never met has an empty apartment she can use in the mean time.

Jackson is a far cry from Los Angeles and Grace has some adjusting to do. She is used to having her guard up and needing to protect herself from the people around her. But in Jackson, the people are mostly friendly with no ulterior motives.

Cole Rawlins is Grace's new neighbor. He had lived on the ranch he plans to buy someday but lost his place in the manager's house when he shattered his leg and could not ride. Now he is doing physical therapy and praying that he will ride again one day.

Dahl has written a great romance about two people trying to find their places in the world. The characters are great, the setting beautiful, and the story steamy. Victoria Dahl is one of, if not the best, romance writer today. But I have no idea who the people on the cover might be - they are not the characters in the book...
