The Vault by Boyd Morrison is his second book featuring Tyler Locke.

After discovering Noah's Ark, Tyler Locke received a bit of press. Now, someone has used that information to blackmail Tyler into helping him.

While on the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton, Locke receives a call. A voice on the other end says that there is a bomb on the ferry that only Locke can defuse. Once Locke gets to the truck with the bomb, he is joined by Stacy Benedict.

With Locke's engineering skills and Benedict's languages skills they will have to solve an ancient Greek puzzle - that will lead them to the tomb of King Midas and his ability to turn things to gold.

Rogue Wave

Rogue Wave by Boyd Morrison is the terrifying story of a tsunami headed for Hawaii.

An apparent earthquake in the Pacific sends a wave outward toward the Pacific islands including Hawaii. After two false alarms in the last few years, Kai Tanaka at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii does not want to issue a Tsunami warning unless there is actually a wave headed toward the islands.

Though time is precious, he decides to wait until the buoy at Christmas Island. It is not likely that the magnitude of the earthquake would cause a Tsunami. Then again, the area of the quake is not on any type of geology that should cause a quake.

Soon it is confirmed that a mega-Tsunami is on its way to Hawaii. The usual evacuation of the beaches -which tells people to go to the major hotels above the 4th floor - will not work with the size of the wave that is coming. And what many people do not know, including the thousands of tourists on the beaches of Hawaii, is that there is more than one wave to a Tsunami.

Kai's wife is the manager of one of the largest hotels. It is her responsibility to get her guests to safety, but how much can she do before she is endangering her own life for others who do not understand the danger in spite of the warnings. Kai's daughter and friend are on Waikiki beach. And the Warning Center is too close to the shore to withstand the first wave.

Morrison has written a great disaster novel full of stress and adrenaline. It is a must-read for adventure fans. Not cheesy like the usual disaster movie, this book will give you nightmares after you stay up too late to finish reading.

The Ark (Tyler Locke #1)

The Ark by Boyd Morrison is in the same genre as The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown, but it is so much better.

Archaeologist Dilara Kenner is on a dig when a family friend begs her to come home and meet with him. During their conversation, her friend is killed. Something her missing father, also an archaeologist, discovered not only proves the existence of Noah's Ark, but could unleash a disease that could cause billions of deaths.

Suddenly someone is trying to kill Dilara. She escapes the first attempt and heads to find Tyler Locke, a man whom her friend mentioned. On her way there a second attempt on her life is thwarted.

Together Tyler and Dilara must figure out what is happening, avoid the many assassination attempts against them, and save the world from a mad man who wants to cleanse the world like G-d did in the time of Noah.

Read Alike authors for Boyd Morrison include James Rollins, Lincoln Child, Jeremy Robinson, and Jeff Long to name a few. The genre -thriller, suspense, science to the extreme, non-stop action - is exciting and The Ark is a great addition from a new author. His second book is due out this fall.
